A small colour palette
Each design uses only the colours it truly needs, keeping preparation light and the finished image clear.
Patterns from places you almost remember
Hi, I’m Lulu. I draw small cross-stitch patterns pixel by pixel for short, quiet stitching sessions.
The luumly method
I draw every pattern pixel by pixel for the small pocket of time at the end of a day. The aim is not to test your patience or technique. It is to give your hands one simple, orderly thing to do, so repetition can become a small form of meditation.
Each design uses only the colours it truly needs, keeping preparation light and the finished image clear.
Long thread carries, fiddly backstitch and unnecessary techniques are reduced wherever the design allows.
Compact charts make it possible to see progress quickly and finish a small, complete object with your own hands.

A note from Lulu
Hi, I’m Lulu. I’m an independent cross-stitch designer and pixel artist, making small patterns for the quiet bit at the end of the day.
I reduce colours, long thread carries and fiddly techniques so there is more room for the thing I love most about cross stitch: one small, ordered movement, repeated until an image appears.
